About Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG)
MAG’s Planning Department oversees transportation planning and programming, policy, mapping, modeling and analytics, demographics, and air quality conformance. The Planning Department also oversees community-requested plans and studies for the MAG region. Department staff work to ensure that our efforts are data driven and collaborative. We provide a forum for discussion and cooperation among local government representatives concerning region-wide issues, primarily focused on transportation and land use planning. The Planning Department has three divisions: Analytics, Community Planning, and Transportation.
