This course explores "manual" software testing methodologies and applications; in addition, it provides basic computer literacy and communication skills for competing in a range of different software testing environments. Completion of this course provides the certification needed to apply to entry-level software testing positions and provides a comprehensive review for the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) test, which is taken upon completion. Students must provide their own laptop. This training program prepares students to become skilled software testing and quality assurance technicians for a wide array of businesses and organizations.
